Business on the Move

Google Buzz

Today’s current batches of smartphones make keeping in touch with your business while you are on the move a simple task. While web design companies can ensure you are able to access you companies’ information on the way to the meeting, there are a number of business apps that make running the company a lot easier too.

There are programmers for every eventuality. So what are the best apps to have loaded onto your Smartphone or android virtual office? Documents to go is an application that allows you to alter or amend most standard type of documents, not necessarily ideal for drafting a whole presentation but definitely useful for tweaking. Evernote makes sure you remember important ideas while on the move; it automatically downloads to your Evernote account to recover later.

Flight information is also easily accessible with the new Smartphones. There are a number of such programmes around that enable the well travelled business user to turn their phone into a departures lounge update board and make sure you don’t miss that important flight. Skype is also available on many smartphones now, useful as so many people are fond of this VoIP system.

Xe is exceptionally useful if you deal a lot with varying exchange rates. This application takes the frustration out of calculating foreign rates for you. Mbpowertools great little system turns your phone into a PowerPoint remote control making presentations easier and smoother at that all-important big presentation.

Analytics App is a useful tool for keeping you up to date with your websites performance, while “Print n Share” allows you to produce hard copies instantly.

One Response to “Business on the Move”

  1. I record telephone interviews through a land line utilising a Telos One hybrid. I want to be able to have two lines with 7kHz audio response (when useable at the other end of the line). One VOIP account with two numbers would do this if the ATA has two RJ-11
